I believe that with Digi-Block, all students can learn very abstract mathematical concepts through modeling and the manipulation of the Blocks. Before the Digi-Block program, there were some students who did not have a clear, developed understanding of the size of hundredths and thousandths as it related to a whole. Now students can clearly see this and develop their own understanding of place value.
